How can you create a bespoke system in 3 days?

For these reasons
1. Unlike other systems which were built for other industries like AV rental, tool rental etc, we built Marquee Tech specifically for the tent & event industry. This means our system is specifically designed for tent hire companies. Which makes creating your account much easier.

2. We have built software solutions to automate a lot of the time-consuming, repetitive admin tasks. For example, we can upload your entire inventory list in seconds, with the click of a button.

3. We only hire employees that have tent hire experience. This means our staff understand the mechanics of putting up a large event tent. Plus, from their experience creating accounts for companies all over the world, they can speak the tent rental language. If you’re talking about roof components and you call it a beam or a rail, we’d know it’s a purlin. Pin = Stake. Foot = Base Plate, and so on.

We use our own description for components/ we build our tents differently/ we mix and match components/ our tents are completely custom… how do you which components to allocate?

That’s fine, the first thing we will do is create a cheat sheet so we can match up and understand what you call components, compared to what we call them. For example you when you say foot, we know you mean base plate. Then we work with you too understand how you build the tents, and which components go where.

Can I move data, inventory & customers from my current system on to Marquee Tech?

Absolutely. Our set up team use their experience and our set-up automation tools to migrate you from your current system onto Marquee Tech. We do this everyday for companies around the world.  

How much work is required by me?

If your inventory list is up-to-date & in order, then very little. If you’re like most tent rental companies and haven’t got the most accurate inventory list, you might use this as an opportunity to take stock.

If you need to start fresh, then we have easy fill inventory spreadsheets for you to use. They take less than an hour to complete and include templates for all of your stock, qty, prices, tents, floors and so on.

We invested heavily into making the setup process as quick and easy as possible. We know, from our own experience that you don’t have the time to spend weeks/months moving to a new system. Whatever your situation is (even if ‘your stock list is in your head’) we can create your account in 3 days.

We need about 1-2 hours of your time to complete some of the set-up forms. We take care of the rest.

If I have a question about set-up or need support when using the system can I speak to someone at Marquee Tech?

Yes, we have an online help desk with 100’s of useful articles & videos. Or, you can speak to one of us. Every day we organize equipment data and set up systems for companies around the world. We’re experts in doing this. If you have questions about the set-up, using the features or if you just want some advice, then feel free to phone, email or Whatsapp.

What do I need to do for this to be successful?

The more data you can provide & the more we communicate the better we can create your account. It is also important to commit & use the system. Don’t fall back into your old way of doing things. The most successful companies on Marquee Tech are the people using the system to its fullest potential

Do you find organising data for tent hire companies boring?

Everything is in my head, I don’t use a formal system.

That is absolutely fine, we have many companies on Marquee Tech who previously didn't have any processes in place and stock management was ‘in their head’.

If you can relate, then we have quick to complete inventory spreadsheets that within an hour, you can add all of your stock, qty, prices, tents, floors and so on.

We do all the heavy lifting to create your account after this. When your account is created (within 3 days) we'' provide you with all the training you need (free of charge) to get you up to speed ASAP.
